Georges River Macarthur - Reflections

Old Ford Rd - The Basin - the Woolwash - O'Hares Creek - Woronora Plateau

The following photographs illustrate the beauty of our own Georges River.

Every location is within 30 minutes travel of Campbelltown. They are found within the Georges River National Park at the back of Minto, Kentlyn and Wedderburn.

Some locations are further afield in the Dharawal State Recreation Area on the Woronora Plateau. All can be reached on foot, bicycle or both. The furthest of them required a 7 km walk and some degree of fitness whilst the closest is a mere 600 metres which includes a climb of 112 steps.

Invitation to walk to these locations

At last two Sundays each month MacBUG is out visiting and photographing these areas. We offer you the opportunity to visit these locations before the rivers water disappears.
